1001 Progress

Here are some things right off the 1001 list that are close to being completed!

#46. Send 101 cards (98/101)
I only have one more non-holiday specific note card! A month before I moved I had almost unused 40 note cards. Then I move onto cards for every holiday including two for the Christmas season.

#62. Organize iTunes
As I'm sure you can tell from your RSS feed updates (ha) that I'm rooting through the good, the bad, and the ugly of my ipod. I'm in the C's! Here's to progress!

#64. Don’t eat out for an entire month
I'm on day 23 of 30 of not eating out! It will be interesting to see how much money I save--or how much money I spend in the grocery store instead of out at the restaurants! Terence and I are going to go someplace new on the 22nd to celebrate!

#75. Buy fruit and veggies from local farmers for an entire month
Done! I'm going to continue to go through October. Then the farmer's market in Crystal City closes :(.

I still have about 55 more things to knock off my list of 101 things to do in 1001 days and only a little over a year to do them! Time to light a fire under my tush.

iPod Challenge: A Minor Glitch

Minor fail happened today, followers. I turned on my iPod on my stroll to the metro only to find that my iPod battery had drained over the weekend. This means, after being charged, the iPod restarts, therefore losing all progress I made on my iPod Challenge. But never fear! I have another stunningly intelligent idea. I'm going to put all of my music in iTunes and listen by artist--in alphabetical order--and track the music I've listened to that way! This way, I can post on each artist (the good, the bad, and the ugly) on my blog. Get ready, kids. We start with Ah-ha's "Take On Me." Of course, the techno version. No better time than now to ask for music suggestions. Anyone?
